MAS is recognised as the most successful initiative to come out of the (BIS).  MCCR being registered with the BIS MAS programme is able to offer grant aided assistance to improve your manufacturing businesses productivity and profitability.  50% grant funding is available in Y&H.  MCCR & Associates is a quality approved provider for MAS in both Y&H through YFM and the East Midlands through PERA

 

 

BREIG. (Business Resource Efficiency Improvement Grants).

- Capital Grants.
This grant is available to assist with the purchase of equipment that will reduce a businesses’ environmental impact.  This includes equipment which will help to reduce the amount of waste produced or reduce energy and water usage. The grant awarded will be a maximum of £8,000 per company and not exceeding 20% of the overall equipment cost. - Consultancy Grant. This grant is available to assist businesses in engaging a specialist consultant to conduct projects which will improve business resource efficiency.  This will include consultancy projects which will reduce waste, energy and/or water usage.  The grant awarded will be a maximum of £2,000 per company and not exceeding 50% of the overall consultancy cost.  Download Fact Sheet 

- Training Grant.  
This grant is available to assist businesses in engaging in training which will lead to learning on resource efficiency/environmental matters where this will subsequently lead to resource efficiency improvements within their business.  The grant awarded will be a maximum of 50% net training cost capped at £500 per company per annum.  Download Fact Sheet

  • Key Advanced Manufacturing Opportunities are identified as: - Composite technologies; Electronics manufacture; Industrial Bio-technology; Fuel Cell technology; Digital technology; Nano-technology materials
  • Key Low Carbon Opportunities are: - Civil Nuclear; Electric Vehicles; Renewable Energy; Sustainable Construction
  • Both of these are to operate within the existing MAS structure until Feb 2011. Grant format is unchanged; i.e 50% funding up to £300 per day for 10 day interventions
